the why…

Progression + Purpose

  • Community

We ride for fun, and we love mountain bikes because they allow us to be part of something big. Rallying around this commonality brings riders a depth to their hobby that becomes invaluable for mind, body, and soul. Beyond the individual level, building community around mountain biking also unifies the public voice around issues that riders care about like land management, trail access, and funding for development of open spaces.

  • Trails

Trails connects us to an untamed world and somehow bring out the untamed piece in all of us. They tell stories. They interact. They punish. Trails are much more than a means to an end. The endless progression and variety of experiences that trails bring us are actually a lot more about who we become in the journey than where they take us.

  • Stewardship

The arid and delicate ecology of Colorado Springs demands homage of its natural resources. It’s only fitting that users of trails would seek to protect and support management of the infrastructure that took blood, sweat, and tears to produce.

We’re committed to preserving our natural beauty and the gift of trails with our time, resources, and devotion.

Mission Statement
